ProperCRETE was founded in 2006 to serve the increasing demand for holiday homes in Crete, mainly from the Northern European market. The partners, Irishman Bernard Hennessy (B. Commerce, D.C.Sc., F.C.M.A., M.Sc.) and Greek Antonis Souranakis (B. Economics, M.Sc.) observed that this demand had been primarily addressed by either luxurious (and very expensive) villas, or low to average quality homes, usually located considerable distances from the sea, at the lower-end price range. Our aim is to develop properties of high standards, combining convenient location close to the beach, modern design, strong construction, top quality materials and luxury features all offered at affordable prices.
